GUZZO, Giuseppe
November 13, 1931 - November 12, 2017
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and Nonno, Giuseppe Guzzo. Born in San Giovanni In Fiore, Calabria, Italy. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria of 57 years, his children, Tony (Silvana) and Anna (George) and his grandchildren Joseph, Brianna, Michael and Luke. He is also survived by his brothers Rosario and Pietro. Giuseppe was predeceased by his parents Giovanna Belcastro and Antonio Guzzo, his sisters Marietta Bitonti, Teresa Mazzei and brother Giovanni Battista Guzzo. He was loved and adored by many nieces, nephews, relatives, co-workers and friends. He was a hard-working, passionate, giving, dedicated and loyal man with a big heart that unconditionally loved and supported his wife, children, grandchildren and extended family. There will be a large void in our lives and this special man will be dearly missed, especially his contagious laugh and smile. We love you so much, Papa. Viewing will take place on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel at 4276 Hastings St., Burnaby, BC. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Of Sorrows Parish at 555 Slocan St., Vancouver, BC. Entombment will be held at Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum, 4000 Imperial St., Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to The BC Lung Association or The Michael Cuccione Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A special thank you to BC Cancer Agency staff and oncologists, Vancouver Coastal Heath, BC Ambulance service, and the many doctors and specialists that helped our father for the last 5 years.
