My " big brother" Emil

For more than 75% of my 12 years in Trade, we were either on the same team or were cubicle neighbours. We found that we both enjoyed travelling, sports, food and the same TV shows. Emil advised me on what sports to play, how to save my money, how to spend my money, what to pick up for him when I travelled outside of Canada, what kind of bourbon to drink, what kind of cigars to smoke, which teams to follow from "the beautiful game", etc. He thought I had terrible taste in music and that I drove too fast. I liked Eminem and he thought "Rap was Crap"... and I thought he gave terrible relationship advice. Good thing he found Pam, because he would still be single if he followed his own advice. I am blessed to have known this wonderful man with the great big laugh and gentle heart. We shared a lot of funny moments. He became a brother to me. We were work buddies, partners in EAP, fellow first aiders and searchers. I will miss him immensely but my memories of him will remain in my heart infinitely.
