Obituary for John Polonio
December 4, 1938-July 6, 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Polonio. John passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 6th, 2016 at the age of 77. He is predeceased by his father Mike and his mother Margaret. He is survived by his loving wife Karen, children John(Cathy), Catherine(Mark), grandchildren Nathan and Charlotte, as well as his brother Peter(Nancy) and sister Darlene(Willie) along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Leone and his team along with the staff on the 10th floor of St. Pauls hospital. Papa loved his family and his grandkids so much and he will be forever loved and remembered for the great man he was. A funeral will be held on July 14th, 11am at Holy Cross Church, 1450 Delta Ave, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the BC Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
