Obituary for William Howard Pope

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dad, William Pope. Bill was a devoted and loving Husband, Dad, and Grandpa. Our Dad passed away peacefully at Burnaby General Hospital May 3, 2018 surrounded by family. Born in Vancouver in 1929, Dad was predeceased by his wife, Florence in 2008, and brothers Donald and Clarence, and brother-in-law Kenneth. He is survived by his two daughters, Linda (Jeffrey) and Cindy (Loris) and son, Steven (Carrie) and 9 grandchildren and his brother, Patrick. Prayers will be offered at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Saint Francis De Sales Parish, 6610 Balmoral Street, Burnaby. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Saint Francis De Sales Parish. Interment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby. Heartfelt gratitude to all the caring professionals at Burnaby General Hospital and Dania Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in William’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
