Obituary for Loreto Ciaccia

It is with great sadness that we announce the
passing of our beloved father, grandfather
and brother. Loreto was born in Celano, Italy
on December 11, 1926 and passed on April 25,
2018 at the age of 91. Predeceased by his wife
Antonina, his parents Antonio and Antonina,
and brother Franco. Survived by his children
Antonio (Colleen), Filomena Black, and Linda
(Walter) Gobbo; grandchildren Gina, Aaron,
Alana, Laura, Anthony, and Monica; brother
Giovanni (Santina) and sister Evelina. Many
thanks to family, friends, and neighbours for
their kindness and support. Also thanks to Dr.
Mary Weckworth for her many years of care
and compassion. Visitation will be held
Monday, May 7, 2018 from 6 - 8:00 p.m. at
Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel 4276 Hastings
St., Burnaby. Funeral Mass will be celebrated
on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St.
Francis of Assisi Church, 2025 Napier St.,
Vancouver. Entombment will be at the
Garden Mausoleum, Forest Lawn Memorial
Park, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church
or School
