Obituary for Cecilia Santina Iorio

Cecilia was born on November 1, 1949 and left this world to be with the Lord on April 14, 2018. She was predeceased by her parents Angelina and Leonardo Iorio, and sister-in-law Maria. She is survived by her brothers Giuseppe and Berardino, niece Ornella (Victor, Larissa, Adrian), nephews Elio (Annemarie, Tianna, Alyssia, Sofia) and Riccardo (Grace), She is also survived by many cousins, relatives and friends here, in the US, and Italy. The family would like to thank all the staff at Royal City Manor in New Westminster who aided Cecilia in her end of life care. She will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, forever. Prayers will be offered at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 26 at Holy Cross Parish 1450 Delta Ave. in Burnaby, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 27. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Cecilia are encouraged to donate in her memory to the Canadian Breast Cancer, or BC Cancer Foundations.
