Obituary for Domenica Cioffi
April 24, 1933 – June 19, 2017
Domenica Cioffi, born in Loseto, Bari, Italy on April 24, 1933, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 19, 2017 in her daughter’s loving care. She is now reunited with her predeceased son, Peter, and husband, Ernesto. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Dina, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family in Canada, Italy, U.S. and Venezuela. Domenica was a dedicated mother, wife, sister and aunt. She was a talented and skilled seamstress who took much pride in her beautiful designs. She was loved by all and brought joy, love, and care to everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2017 at St. Helen’s Parish, 3860 Triumph St. Burnaby, B.C., Celebrant Fr. Rosemond Sylvestre, C.S. Private entombment for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation or St. Michael’s Hospice would be appreciated. Special thanks to the staff at Burnaby Hospital, Palliative Care Unit and St. Michael’s Hospice in Burnaby.
