Obituary for Christian Porcellato
We have come to realize that nothing in life prepares us for losing someone we love. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, brother, zio, cousin, nephew, and great friend to many. Christian will always be remembered for his gentle nature, patience, compassion, kindness and will to live. He has taught us to be grateful for the small gifts in life and to be accepting of God’s plan. He will always be a hero in our eyes. We want to express our special gratitude to his caregivers who have gone beyond the call of duty and have become family. Viewing will take place Thursday, June 15, 2017, 7pm -9pm at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel in Burnaby. Mass will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017, 10:30am at St. Helens Church, 3860 Triumph St., Burnaby. Entombment to follow at South Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to G.F. Strong Rehab Center at vghfoundation.ca in memory of Christian.
