Obituary for Leone Zanotto
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leone Zanotto on April 15, 2017 at the age of 88. Leone was born in Liedolo di San Zenone, Italy on January 2, 1929. He was predeceased by his wife Rosetta and his son David. He is survived by his loving family: his sons Antonio (Bonnie), Gianni (Karen) and Adriano (Lorena); his grandchildren Alan (Courtenay), Aaron, Laura, Juliano, Joshua, Luca, and Olivia as well as his sister Elena in Italy and many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and Australia. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Royal Ascot Care Centre for their compassionate support of Leone. A visitation will be held Saturday, April 22 from 4-6 p.m. at Bell Funeral Chapel 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 24 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Helen's Catholic Church 3860 Triumph St., Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BC Cancer Foundation.
