Obituary for Josie Bik Har Lew (Kwan)
Sept. 26, 1919 – Feb. 19, 2017
Surrounded by the love of her family, Josie passed away on Sunday Feb. 19, 2017. She will be greatly missed by her sons and daughters-in-law: Richard (Mimi), Patrick (Susan), Jordan (Judy) and Alfred (Charlene); and daughters and sons-in-law: Ellie (Fred), Eleanor and Elsie (George); 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandcchildren. Josie was born in Nam Hoi, China, raised in Hong Kong and came to Canada in 1957. She loved to live life to the fullest. Her greatest loves were dancing, singing Chinese Opera, gathering with family and playing mah-jong. She was a long-time member of the Chinese Freemasons Association. Heartwarming thanks to all the staff of the Holy Family Hospital. No service as per family wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations to Tapestry Foundation c/o Holy Family Hospital at www.tapestryfoundation.ca will be appreciated.
