Obituary for Igino "Gino" Pecile

On August 3 2016 , a wonderful, caring and generous man left us peacefully surrounded with the love of his family. Saddened and left to mourn and cherish his incredible life is his adoring wife of 55 years Amelia, son Claudio, daughters Sonia (Mike) and Sara as well as Angelo,father of his grandchildren. Heartbroken to lose their Nonno and the lights of Gino's life are his grandchildren Luca and Noa. He cherished every moment he had with them up until the end. He is predeceased by his brother Angelo and survived by sisters Maria, Olga, Virginia and Luciana . He was greatly loved and will be missed by a large extended family and many friends in both Canada and Italy. Gino opened his heart and home to all. Our family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Burnaby General Hospital with special thanks to the staff in unit 2B for their kindness and care. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, August 8, 2016 at St. Helen's Church 3860 Triumph Street, Burnaby B.C. Entombment will follow at the South Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers , please consider donating to the Burnaby Hospital Foundation or the BC Cancer Agency. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.bellburnaby.com
