Obituary for Fabiola Amalia Sernaggia
August 27, 1928 – July 25, 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fabiola Sernaggia, at the age of 87. Fabiola is survived by her loving family: daughters Renata (Tony) and Ivana; son, Claudio; she was predeceased by their father, Gino, and her sister Maria. Fabiola is remembered and cherished by her grandchildren: Natasha (Danny), Stefano (Sylvia) and Tieli (Scott); great grandchildren, Adriana, Catia, Julia, Cali and Gabriel; brother-in-law Marcello; and her brother and sisters, nieces, nephews and family here and in Italy. Visitation will be held at 7:00-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi, 2025 Napier Street, Vancouver. Entombment at Ocean View Burial Park, Abbey Mausoleum, Burnaby. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Covenant House.
