Obituary for Patricia Follador
August 16, 1945 - July 6, 2016
With overwhelming sorrow, we announce the passing of Patricia Follador on July 6, 2016. Although sudden and unexpected, Pat passed with family and friends at her side. Born in Newcastle upon Tyne and raised in Southport, England, Pat immigrated to Canada in the late 1960's, making Vancouver her home for over 45 years. A long-time employee of Scotiabank, Pat made life-long friends over the course of her career, bringing humour, laughter, and love to the countless lives she touched. In her greatest roles in life, Pat was a most loving mother and best friend to her daughters, and adoring Nana to her grandson. A truly warm and loving soul, her spirit flowed over into every aspect of her life, making her friends life-long, and touching the hearts of many. She is survived by her husband Mario, daughters Cristina and Marina, son-in-law Cory, grandson Matthew, nieces Nicole (Alfredo) and Monique (Elvio), nephew Michael (Lindsey), grand-nephews Caetano, Caique, and Sebastian, god-daughter Laura, Cathy and numerous life-long friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the ICU at Burnaby Hospital for their empathy and caring touch in her final moments. A Funeral Mass will be held for Pat on July 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 1450 Delta Avenue, Burnaby. Reception to follow.
